NH!!! You did it! You participated and garnered 2 second place team NH finishes in the Sprint-Distance Festival part of the LET’S GO Virtual Race Series brought to you by BayStateRunning (BSR).
On the boys’ side scoring in the 400 for the Granite State was Porter Heigis (Coe-Brown) and Ryan Moyer (Dover). Moyer actually doubled and also scored in the 800 meters along with Londonderry’s Will Plante. In the boys mile, NH scored 2 with North’s Rory Curran and MV’sEthan Dodenhoff. Dover High saw further representation with Tyler Sheedy scoring in the 5000 meters along with Coe-Brown’s Luke Tkaczyk.
NH boys finished in second just 9 points behind Massachusetts!
On the girls side, NH went 1-2-4-6 in the Girls Mile with Merrimack’s Adele Alexander, Coe-Brown’s Addison Cox, Exeter’s Ali McFarland, and BG’s Fiona Doherty. While South’s Nadezhda Zhecheva scored on the 400 meters, NH scored twice more in the 5000 meters with Concord’s Katherine Kennedy and North’s Dantia Braccio. While Massachusetts enjoyed an easy team victory, NH girls placed 11 points up on Rhode Island.
Which brings us to our soapbox! Come on NH!!! Even if you did not like your results from this past weekend still TRACK YOUR WORKOUTS!!! Let’s first win this through participation and your performances will rise to the top! Besides, its something to do in isolation! 🙂
